Activities
Day 01 - Katunayake
Meet your guide on arrival at the Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport and transfer to the Hotel. Spend the rest of your day at leisure by the hotel.
Day 02 - Anuradhapura
After breakfast,leave to Anuradhapura.First Capital of Sri Lanka,built in the 3rd Century BC. Declared as a World Heritage Site. Visit Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest historically documented tree in the world, the Brazen Palace , Dagobas, Ruwanwelisaya, Abeygiri & Jetawana Monasteries, finely preserved rock-cut statues of Lord Buddha and ruins of palaces, Isurumuniya rock temple. Overnight at Anuradhapura.
Day 03 - Polonnaruwa
Drive up to Polonnaruwa to visit the well preserved remains of the city which has been the capital in Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th Century. You will see the excavations: Temples, Dagobas, the royal palace, the royal library, ect. Overnight stay in Habarana.
Day 04 - Kandy
Early in the morning, visit Sigiriya. A 650 feet high rock fortress in the sky,a masterpiece of construction, artistry & irrigations, a world heritage site (5th Century AD) where the World famous fresco painting of heavenly maidens is housed in a cave. Visit the Gem museums and Batik Factories. En route,visit Dambulla cave trample and Spice garden. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 05 - Kandy
Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden where you will see a huge, exceptional collection of flora. Visit the woodcarving factories and later,visit the Kandy Tooth Relic Temple and complete the City tour. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 06 - Negombo
Leave to Negombo via Pinnawala. En route,visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. One in Negombo,visit a fishing village,take a boat tour to Negombo Lagoon and spend the rest of your time at leisure by the beach side. Overnight stay in Negombo.
Day 07 - Airport
Leave to the Airport in due time for departure.
